Greetings B-C Grammar No. 1 T.E.A.M.!
I am Christopher K. Dickey and proudly serve as principal of this great school! I have served successfully in public education for eighteen years as a classroom teacher and administrator at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I have worked in rural, suburban and inner city settings in both North and South Carolina, most recently in Richland School District Two as an assistant principal at Forest Lake Elementary School.
As you all know, B-C No. 1 has a long reputation for being an outstanding school, with strong ties to the community. One of my goals is to build upon the tradition of work that has been established over the years. This is our 65th year in existence and we will celebrate all great things that B-C No. 1 has provided for our community. Our theme for the school year is "At B-C Grammar, we are One T.E.A.M.(Together, Engaging, Achieving and Motivating)." We are using the same acronym for our Positive Behavior Intervention Support (P.B.I.S.) system for school wide behavior and sharing the common language of being one school.
Please know that my door is always open, and I look forward to working with you this school year.
"At B-C Grammar School, we are One T.E.A.M.!"
